Extra Magic Hours are something that the Walt Disney World Resort has offered for quite some time at its four parks and resort guests have grown to love them. Resort guests at Walt Disney World could take advantage of staying on grouns by getting extra hours in the mornings and evenings to enjoy the parks.
Disney's Animal Kingdom will now only offer Extra Magic Hours in the mornings with no longer keeping the park open later at night.
There is no word per WDWMagic.com if this is a permanent change or soemthing that will only be for a certain period of time. For the released calendar range by Disney, there are no evening Extra Magic Hours listed through September of this year. The last night that Animal Kingdom stayed open later was February 23, 2011.
Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney's Hollywood Studios are still running Extra Magic Hours as scheduled for both the mornings and evenings. Animal Kingdom's early mornings will still go as scheduled as well.
