This morning showed guests visiting Walt Disney World how busy it is going to be at the theme parks this Easter season. As early as 11: 30 a.m. today the Magic Kingdom Park has closed its gates to some guests due to capacity. It was not until just before 2 p.m. when the gates were reopened to all guests wishing to enter.
The capacity closure of Magic Kingdom this morning is just the beginning of multiple closings like this at Walt Disney World. The Magic Kingdom and Epcot are generally the first to close during busy times of the year. So if you are planning on visiting one of these two parks, go early and plan to spend the day, because if you leave and they close the gates you will not be permitted back in until the gates are reopened.
Before heading to the theme parks be prepared and know the operating hours. This will help ensure you are at the park when it opens and granted entry. Below are operating hours for this Easter weekend.
